...but....there’s another motocross gear brand that started in the 1970s....this brand had the #1 position in the US market, all four Japanese brands as private label customers as well as most of the European manufacturers. Their sponsored talent includes hall-of-fame riders such as Hannah, Stackable, and Pomeroy. Their innovative gear was made from then revolutionary DuPont Cordura, helping them carve out a legendary reputation for durability. Featuring an iconic griffin logo, the name on this groundbreaking clothing was GRIFFS.READ OUR HISTORY
"in 1975....the first-ever (Cordura) motocross pants, manufactured by a company called GRIFFs, were released to the public. The company sold more than 50,000 pairs of the Steve Stackable signature pants."
I bought a pair of Griffs in 1981. Rode motocross & scrambles for 6 years in those pants, an another 3 years trail riding. Stored them in a black garbage bag in the basement with other apparel. Most of it had disintegrated, but the Griffs were still intact!
These were the best motocross pants I have ever owned. Tough as nails.
